I am a small business owner who endeavors to surprise and delight my clients as much as possible. Every year at Christmastime, I send a gift of pears and sharp cheddar cheese. It's always appreciated, over the constant flow of candies, cookies, and things just as soon glued to the thighs. For the past 8 years, I've made that purchase from ... shall we say ... Brand [...]. [And i don't mean Harriet and Donna.] Every year, their website & service gets worse (don't get me started on this topic).[@]is an excellent alternative, and offers a great pears/cheese basket (and apples too) for under $50. I dispatched several, and found their web site to be somewhere between acceptably clunky and suitably usable. My only problem was that some recipients didn't see the card, and as such didn't know they were from me. Not sure why this happened. It's a little weird to call somebody to ask if they received the present you sent ...! I will revisit [@]the next time i need or want to buy this kind of product.
