Rib Roast Meal

Your whole family will love the Omaha Steaks Rib Roast Meal. This memorable meal for eight includes a 4-pound boneless heart of prime rib roast that is both tender and juicy. Also included are 10 potatoes au gratin and four 5-ounce packages of broccoli and cauliflower florets in roasted garlic oil. A 6.5-ounce jar of gourmet horseradish sauce completes the meal.

To prepare the rib roast, first thaw in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. If you desire, first brush the entire roast with olive oil prior to seasoning. Then rub it with salt and pepper, Omaha Steaks Seasoning, or the seasoning of your choice. Place on a rock in a shallow roasting pan and cook for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees and continue roasting for 75 to 90 minutes. Remove from the oven and place on a heated serving platter, allowing the roast to sit for 5 to 10 minutes before carving. The side dishes can be microwaved or baked in the oven.
